Novatek says gas output grows by 2.8% to 82.14 bcm in 2022
MOSCOW, Jan 16 (PRIME) -- Gas production of Russia’s independent gas maker Novatek grew by 2.8% to 82.14 billion cubic meters (bcm) in 2022, according to the preliminary data published by the company on Monday.
Novatek’s hydrocarbon production grew by 2% to 638.9 million barrels of oil equivalent in 2022. Production of liquid hydrocarbons decreased by 2.9% on the year to 11.94 million tonnes in the period.
The company’s total natural gas sales, including liquefied natural gas (LNG), grew by 1% on the year to 76.55 billion cubic meters in 2022. Sales of gas on the Russian market grew by 0.3% on the year to 68.09 billion cubic meters, LNG sales on the international markets increased by 6.3% to 8.45 billion cubic meters in the period.
